NAIDOC Week code-a-thon

The final tally

Update:

The final results are in! Between NSLA libraries and the amazing Trove volunteers, a total of 8017 library records now have an Australian Indigenous language code, representing 469 unique languages.

This NAIDOC Week (7-14 July), NSLA libraries are adding AUSTLANG Indigenous language codes to as many catalogue records as possible. Identifying specific languages will make our collections more accessible and make this collection material more easily discoverable.

Daily tally:

  • 12 July: 3741
  • 11 July: 2382
  • 10 July: 1530
  • 9 July: 302
  • 8 July: 287
  • 5 July: 114
