Victoria's new State Librarian 

The State Library of Victoria (SLV) has announced the appointment of Sue Roberts as its State Librarian and Chief Executive Officer, commencing in late March 2012.

Ms Roberts is currently University Librarian at Victoria University in Wellington, and serves as Chair of the Council of New Zealand University Librarians and Director of the Library Consortium of New Zealand. She will join the other heads of State and National libraries as Victoria's representative on NSLA.
