Trove goes multilingual

The first non-English language newspapers have been added to Trove, under the Australian Newspapers Digitisation Program.

Selected German, Italian and Estonian community newspapers have been digitised, including:

  • The Adelaider Deutsche Zeitung (1851 and 1860-1862)
  • Suedaustralische Zeitung/Sud-Australische Zeitung (1850-1851)
  • Sud-Australische Zeitung (1860-1874)
  • Il Giornale Italiano (1932-1940)
  • Meie Kodu (1949-1954).
